- 2020-21 Choices for Student Learning - LCCS will be offering two ways to experience learning this year. Students can choose one of the following:
- LCCS Learning Model 1
- Student attends school for in-person/hybrid learning
- Courses taught by LCCS instructors with the exception of a few HS electives
- Student enrolled with Hinsdale County School District / Lake City Community School
- LCCS Learning Model 2
- Update: 08/31/20 CDLS registrations are closed! Please call the school if you are interested in pursuing this option.
- Student attends school remotely with online learning via Colorado Digital Learning Solutions (CDLS)
- Courses taught by CDLS licensed teachers
- Student enrolled with Hinsdale County School District / Lake City Community School
- LCCS Case Manager oversees student registration and monitors student progress
- Technology devices provided by LCCS for K-12 students
- If a student wishes to switch to LCCS Learning Model 1 (see above), they may do so at the beginning of the next upcoming quarter.
- Students in MS/HS will take CDLS courses that correspond to grade-level courses offered in person at LCCS
- Grab -n- Go lunch available for purchase (free-and-reduced applies)

- August 12, 2020: Student Registration 10:00-2:00 at new school office
- August 31, 2020: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and School Tour
