The Lake City Community School Foundation (LCCSF) was formed June 26, 2018. LCCSF was formed with a long-term mission to provide an additional layer of financial support for the Lake City Community School for its continued efforts with providing an exceptional education for its students.
Since its first donation of $52.00 by Caleb and Morgan Hardy, LCCSF has been able to raise enough funds to begin a grant program for the teachers and staff of Lake City Community School in 2021. Applications for grants will be available in March 2021. Announcement of grant recipients will be made at the end of the school year.
LCCSF is a 501(c)(3) public charity. LCCSF Board of Directors are Phillip and Carolyn Virden, Mary Reinhardt, Carla Whinnery, and Rob Hudgeons.
For more information on LCCSF or to donate, please contact Phillip Virden, P.O. Box 818, Lake City, CO 81235, phillipv@lakecityschool.org, 970-944-2548.
